Two-laser laser markers that allow users to operate on components made of different materials with the same machine. When the Robot moves the pallet to the marking cabinet in Assisted mode, the operator selects an empty pallet and packs the components on it. The operator can request and load another pallet while the cycle is running. The YZ Robot is disengaged in Manual mode, and the operator loads the pallets from the marker’s front door. This cycle takes longer, but it enables for larger and heavier components to be loaded.
How can the marker know which component to mark given the existence of two separate lasers and the numerous layouts or codes to mark? The DataMatrix code on each pallet is read by a lateral vision system located within the marking cabin, and the programme recognises and loads the layout/code for a specific component, and the laser begins marking it. The algorithm can identify the pallets containing the component based on its weight when it first starts up.
